Warranty Statement (Repairs and/or Returns)
UPSI strives to ensure that every battery pack is assembled to the highest quality standards by investing in ongoing training of its staff, obtaining certification and implementing internationally recognized quality management systems and employing rigorous in-house testing procedures.
UPSI purchases the components to manufacture the battery packs, including cells, connectors and other materials from third party vendors. The cell manufacturers' liabilities are limited only to the replacement of cells if there is found to be a manufacturer's defect of the cells.
If in the event there is found to be a failure in the workmanship of a battery pack manufactured by UPSI, we will repair or replace the pack. UPSI does not provide refunds or credits.
Any and all product to be returned to UPSI for inspection requires an issued RMA (Returned Materials Authorization) form from UPSI. The customer is responsible for the shipping charges to UPSI's Calgary facility. All products must be packaged in the original packaging material to ensure full compliance under the UN transportation guidelines for UN3090 Class 9 lithium batteries. The customer is responsible for completing all related documentation for shipping, including but not limited to: commercial invoicing, waybills, and dangerous goods documentation.
Once the product is released from UPSI's facility, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all transportation guidelines are followed in any further transportation of these goods.
